I am a graduate of
Bachelor of Science in Development Communication
at the University of the Philippines Los Banos. Cum laude.
Key skills: Strategic communication, knowledge management, project coordination, documentation, stakeholder management, graphic design
Through my degree, I came to understand the value of communication in everyday interactions. I became particularly interested in how communication ensures that the right messages reach the right audiences, and how this shapes more effective and purposeful work.
I also developed an appreciation for knowledge management, especially within organizations, where clear systems help sustain communication efforts over time. Alongside this, I learned the importance of working closely with stakeholders and keeping their needs at the center of any project.
Much of my experience in Development Communication involved project coordination through partnerships, which strengthened my ability to manage tasks, align with teams, and see projects through from planning to implementation.
Projects
My projects are mostly rooted in development communication practice. I've worked on a lot of community work, specifically creating communication materials for the stakeholders. This includes educational materials, visual communication materials, communication campaigns, knowledge management proposals, and community-based projects in partnership with organizations such as SAMALA, UPLB Sierra Madre, BIDANI Network Program, and the Department of Agriculture (during Internship).
Across these, I've been involved in leading projects, writing, documentation, developing communication materials, and coordinating with teams and partners to carry projects through from planning to implementation.
